Workshops
Workshops with Lo-Giudice Dance offer participants the chance to engage with the company in the studio. These are often tailor-made to provide the best possible experience with each organisation we work with.
Residencies
Residencies with the company allow for a longer time period to work with us. Our residences are often used as a chance to create a piece of choreography with the groups we work with.
Students and community work
We have worked with students, young dancers and communities across the UK and Europe. From community groups in Northumberland and primary schools in Teeside, to universities in Italy and Prague, we have engaged with students and people from all walks of life.
Prior to working with a group, we would have a conversation with each organisation or activity leader to ensure we are providing the most enriching experience for that particular bunch of individuals, focusing on age and ability, experience, time available, desired learning outcomes and the end product. This could be a piece of choreographed work (videos of which can be viewed below), the learning of repertoire or just a memorable and inspiring time with us.
Professional artists and graduates
Open morning professional class is regularly provided whilst the company are in rehearsals and on tour. From Dance City in England, Art Garage in Naples, Dance Base in Scotland and the Alfred ve Dvore in Prague - we have welcomed professional arts to join us for class and observation oppertunities.
For professional artists, students and graduates wanting to find out more, please contact us.
Post show discussions and our ‘open studio'
Sometimes audiences want to savour the magic of live performance and let their thoughts on what they have experienced swirl around quietly in their mind. Other times, audiences want to know what went into the creation of a piece of choreography, they want to share their thoughts or they may want to have direct communication with the artists to further understand a piece. Post show discussions allow this to happen. Whenever possible, we will commit to hosting a post show discussion to bridge the connections further between audiences and the work.
We also aim to keep an open door on the creative process within the studio. Please contact us directly if you would like to know more about upcoming opportunities for observation.
