Lo-Giudice Dance are a small-scale touring dance theatre company built up of a constellation of artists, based in Newcastle upon Tyne and driven by artist, teacher and director Anthony Lo-Giudice.
We work on a project-to-project basis, delivering high quality dance productions with a coherent learning and participation program that engages with regional, national and international audiences from all walks of life.
Engaging over 11,000 people in the past five years through live performances across Europe. From small scale tours throughout the UK, to regional, national and international dance and theatre festivals across the continent.
An 80% audience capacity attendance for ticketed events.
An education and learning program that has engaged with over 12,000 participants. Credits include Reykjavik Fringe Festival, The Royal Ballet School, The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Zelyonka Fest in Ukraine, Dance Base, ProDance Leeds, ArtGarage Puzuolli, Dance City pro class, CAT and Degree, YDance Scotland and The Royal Opera House educational program.
Commissions from Dance City, Sage Gateshead, Dance Base, Movimentale Festival Napoli, Rambert Dance Company and The Lowry.
Collaborations with internationally renowned artists and organisations including Royal Northern Sinfonia, Einar Selvik/Wardruna, Hector de Gregorio, Specular.
A growing international rapport developed from performances and residencies in 8 countries including Italy, Catalonia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, France, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
